Raging Thunder Adventures is one of Australias largest adventure operators. They use Respax Enterprise inhouse with the Respax Netwizard connected directly to the database. All tours, setups and tour web content is controlled from the software. This study takes you through screens shots as public and agents sees it.

The NetWizard is intergrated into their website and customised to suite their colour schemes.



Product List Template...

Raging Thunder uses the Product List template to which all data content is derived from the ResPax database including Images, descriptions and prices. You can choose to book directly from this page or get more detailed information about a particular tour.


Product Details...

If you chose More Info, you will land on Raging Thunders main tour details template. Like the product details, all data content including images are derived from the database.

The content of this template can be modified from either the Respax for Windows suite of products or from the Respax Online Operator interface.

The first Step - the Travel Date screen

If you chose Book now from product details or product list, you will get the first step of the online booking wizard. Chose the date you want to travel and proceed to the next screen. Alternativly, the booking can be set as a Open Ended date which means that the booking will be unconfirmed but money will be collected in the booking wizard.


Choose basis of tour...

Depending on the complexity of the tour your are booking, you will be asked to specify basis option for each tour. Basis and subasis determines which price matrix should be used. There is no physical limit to how many basis and pricematrices you can setup for a tour. Practically, you would want to keep it as simple as possible...


The Pax details screen...

 

The pax details screen collects pax numbers, pax name, voucher and pickup details from the agent or patron using the booking wizard. Specific comments can be added here. These comments will show on bus and tour manifests.

The pax screen will also show realtime availability for this tour for the choose date. If the tour is full, a message will appear to advise that the tour is fully booked!


Credit card authentication...

Credit card details are collected on the screen after pax just before committing the booking. If you are an australian business, credit card can be authenticated realtime and money transfered into your account in a couple of days. If the patron does not have any money on their credit card, the booking can not commit. Details are collected of a fully secure SSL link.

If you are logged in as an agent, you get several options on how to pay depending on the credit status of you company with the operator.

Click next to commit the booking!


Finally, the confirmation screen...

.... and then you are done!... The confirmation screen details the options you have chosen for this booking. A confirmation number can be used to reference this booking at a later stage. The booking is committed directly into the database and the pax number has effected availability.

This screen also has a print-friendly screen.


Logging in as an Travel Agent...

You can give access to your travel agents outthere. ... setup a userid and password for each user in an agent organisation and give them the link...


The Agent Home page..

The agent homepage shows a list of primary tours and lets the Raging Thunder book their tours directly. All commission structures applicable for the agent will be used when booking in the wizard. Each agent can also maintain their own set of users. Each agent can search, edit and cancel their own bookings.

The ResPax NetWizard has proven to be a great way for Raging Thunder to decrease their Call Centre load. It has also let them significantly improve the service they offer to overseas agents as the agents can now book directly and does not have to wait for confirmations. Backpackers are finding the site and are booking directly from internet cafes.
