Hello!

The year is off to a running start and we can't wait for the quarter to end before telling you about all that is happening!

New Respax operators are joining the network at a rapid rate, and our Respax Lite or Enterprise products are currently being trialled or tested all over the globe for tour operations in countries such as South Africa, USA, Belize, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, France, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Fiji, Turkey, Greece, France, Kenya, The Philippines, Mexico ... the list goes on! Very exciting!

Needless to say, as the number and spread of operators increase, so will agent awareness of Respax agent tools around the world.  Read below about our initiatives to improve communications and business prospects between Respax operators, and Respax operators and agents through online networking.

We are still busy on the development side of the business, with the newly released Respax Lite accommodation module improving the reservations process for overnight tours and finding a market with small accommodation operators.

New Accommodation Module Released!
Lite operators can now sell overnight tours incorporating an accommodation component. Step-by-step documentation  is available on our website and instructional videos will added shortly

This accommodation module is also suitable for small accommodation places such as holiday homes and B&Bs. View an example of the Lite web voucher incorporating the accommodation module on the Trinity Tropical Oasis website.

The purpose of this group is for operators to introduce themselves to potential agents (and vice-versa), advise on attendances at special events (e.g. trade shows), educate existing and current agents on the free Respax tools for connecting to operators, etc.

Sea Temple Palm Cove of Mirvac Hotels & Resorts use Respax Tour Voucher to view availability information and make direct bookings with Respax tour operators. They also use it as a complete (free) tour desk scenario, creating booking vouchers for non-Respax tour operators then accessing the tour desk reports to view information on their total tour desk sales.

Operator Mapping Requests
It's great to see an improvement in the time taken by operators to respond to mapping requests.  Approving mapping to new agents brings new business, mapping to existing agents reduces your company's overheads in taking bookings.  Making your tours available for direct and easy bookings by agents may give you a competitive advantage.

Just a reminder Enterprise customers need to check their mapping request emails, and Lite customers need to refer to the Agents tab (Outstanding Mapping Requests section) on a regular basis (perhaps set an alarm in your email program).
