RESPAX TourDesk is a real-time
web interface to multiple Respax Operators
using a easy-to-use shopping cart interface
and tools to view operators tour details
with imagery, availability checking, commit
bookings in real-time and retrieve immediate
confirmations. Respax Tourdesk also features
a free-type FreeForm tool allow for complete
management of the Tourdesk and maxium regional
operator coverage.
Typical advantages include much reduced
handling time for both operator and agent
staff when dealing with a booking and much
less waiting time on the phone as you are
interacting directly with the remote systems.
Interacting directly in the same interface
for multiple Operators means reduced training
requirement for your staff. Instead of using
individual booking interfaces for each operator,
your staff can now book them all through

The Tour Operator

One of the key areas in Respax Tourdesk is
the Product Catalog. It provides a friendly grid
sorted by Region, by Operator, by Favourites,
Top booked and Last booked. Each consultant can
customise and filtered to show only the regions,
operators and product that your company is interested
in.
The product catalog shows both real-time Respax
Operators as well as Non-Respax Operators to give
the tourdesk consultant a comprehensive selection
of product for a region. Respax Tourdesk introduces
a innovative concept of FreeForm vouchers enabling
the tourdesk consultant to freetype a product
item in
the same cart as real-time bookings.

By Region Tab groups the product
into operator regions. Each product is grouped
under the operator and each product have a easy-to-use
5-day grid showing a instant, upd-to-date snapshot
availability for your preffered products. The
can be customised to mix free-type FreeForm
functionallity with real-time availability.
By Operator tab lists all operators
in alphabetical order. You can easily filter to
show only operators that you are interested in
regardless of what region they are in. The Operator
list can also show the 5-day grid. Wholesalers
typically turn the grid of as they always book
further out than 5-days. This list also allows
you to add product to your favourites list.
Favourites tab allows you to
maintain your favourite product which can quickly
be access and added to the shopping cart. Full
availability can be access through the ShowAll
which shows all product options with a 7-day availbility
grid. Start date for full availability grid is
set by you.
Freeform tab enables your consultants
to mix freetype FreeForm
product with real-time, listed product. The FreeForm
feature is also optionally accessable from all
the product grids.

Respax Tourdesk introduces a innovative solution
for creating a comprehensive coverage of a tourism
region. The free-type FreeForm feature enables the
tourdesk consultant to add a "blank" voucher
to the shopping cart. All items in the FreeForm
booking item can be manually edited including pricing,
tour details, pickups and deposits. Freeform bookings
can be mixed with real-time Respax Operators product
in the shopping cart to make Respax Tourdesk the
one-stop-shop for management and reporting of all
your tourdesk bookings.
The FreeForm system enables tourdesks to use Respax
Tourdesk as a complete replacement of their current
systems whether these are voucher books, Excel spreadsheets
or customised Access databases. As more Tour Operators
implement Respax for Windows
as their inhouse reservation system, their product
become directly visible to all the Respax Tourdesk
users. This allows for a gradual growth of a direct
booking network in any tourism region providing
direct connectivity between the agents and operators.

The FreeForm feature includes email notifications
to each operator. The tourdesk consultant can
choose to call the tour operator before commiting
a free-typed booking and then adding the operators
reference to the FreeForm cart item. The booking
will then be considered to be confirmed and a
email notification will be sent to the operator.
If the consultant does not specify a operator
reference, the booking will be emailed to the
operator as a OnRequest booking.

Respax Tourdesk have a easy-to-use shopping cart
that enables the consultant to quickly add tours
from the product grids for multiple operators. The
cart allows the consultant to mix real-time Respax
Operators with free-typed vouchers to extend maximum
coverage in a tourism region and a complete management
system

The booking cart collect basic passenger details.
It also allows the consultant to modify dates,
select tour options, type in comments and select
pickup locations all provided and maintained by
the remote operator. The consultant can go back
and browse product at anytime without loosing
the cart details.
Once the consultant have committed the cart, they
will get an immediate confirmation number and
a printable voucher for each seperate product.

Tour content is maintained by the tour
operators as part of running their inhouse
reservation system. Content include images,
product description, product inclusion,
availability and prices.
The content page also shows email and phone
contact details for key departments such
as Accounts, Reservations and Technical
in each operator business.

The administrator for your company, normally the
Reservations Supervisor, has complete control of
your company preferences. This includes setting
up users with varied permissions and access. Respax
Tourdesk lets you control which product, operator
and/or location visible to the consultants in your
organisation.

Respax Tourdesk provides a choice of product grids
sorted in a variety of ways. The administrator
is able to control which of these grids are visible
to the consultant users as well as control the
functionallity available in each grid. Functionallity
in the shopping cart can be toggled and adjusted.
MyCompany lets you manage which currencies that
your company are going to support as part of taking
bookings. Conversion rates are maintained by you
and can be updated as frequently as you business
demands.
Respax Tourdesk supports management of multiple
branches. Each branch can have multiple users.
The branches have less configuration options than
the parent company getting most of the preferences
and settings from the parent company. Conversion
rates and filtering, as an example, is controlled
by the parent company.
The Login maps area manages the direct links
with the remote tour operators using Respax
for Windows . You can select which operators
you would like direct availability and immediate
confirmations from. Respax Tourdesk sends a webform
to the operators. The operator can quickly map
a login to their system. This map will ensure
that your existing commission levels and credit
status with the operator is maintained.

PRICING |

Respax Tourdesk is largely free to implement and use. It optionally
offers a number of advanced features such as White
Labeling/Direct consumer Branding/real-time Credit
card authentication for a percentage fee against
tour value. Similar to taking credit card payments
in your business, these features are optional,
balanced and incidental against your revenue and
charged to your credit card on a monthly basis.
